Re-Supply Missions and Intruders
Over the last few days, the Grands have been deployed several times for Re-Supply Missions. We’ve picked up rehydration supplies for Agent 0, installed security lighting for Command, and today we were sent to pick up bagels and coff… I mean a Pumpkin Spice Latte!
Now, maybe the Grands asked Command if they needed anything several times just so we could visit the safe house and see Agent 0.
Maybe.
But upon arrival, we were able to take over the protective detail for Agent 0 from Command for quite some time. And it’s a good thing we were there because we discovered a security breach!
Yes. A real security breach.
As I was holding Agent 0 and providing a debrief on what’s to come, a HUGE, SCARY spider ran across my path as I paced through the safe house with Agent 0.

Field Operative Gram caught it out of the corner of her eye and, with flip-flop in hand, attempted to assassinate the intruder. It was too fast and escaped under the entertainment stand.
She hit the floor and observed the intruder attempting to conceal itself among the power cords. I deployed my flashlight and put a light on the situation.
Gram then moved the entertainment stand.
The spider made a run for it.
But it was not faster than Field Operative Gram, who successfully assassinated the intruder with her flip-flop.
As the scene was cleaned up, Gram investigated how the intruder had gained entry and located a breach in the safe house perimeter. I immediately sent a message to safe house maintenance and ordered corrective action to be taken as soon as possible.

Once the scene settled down and Command was able to fuel up on a Pumpkin Spice Latte and bagels, we were debriefed on the lack of sleep Command has been getting. They are working on a schedule, but Agent 0 appears to be a bit rogue at the moment, and Command is working diligently to rein her in.
The Grands handled Agent 0 long enough for Command to eat, secured additional security upgrades for the safe house, and then headed back into the field to await future communications.
Stay tuned for the next SITREP.
Granddad out.
